Associating poll with video

You have the option of associating a poll with a video player so that the poll “covers” the video. The video does not stop automatically, so the video sound can still be heard in the background.
If this function e. g. used in a live voting, the poll appears in the foreground for the participants, so that they can concentrate fully on the vote and can be guided by the moderator via audio. When the process is finished, you can switch back so that the video player is displayed as before.
You have two options for using this function: either the poll is permanently displayed at any other position in the project and is only placed over the video player when switching, or the poll is only visible it’s overlaid on top of the video player.

1. Add two module windows to your project, a > video player and a > poll.

2. Enable “Allow live controls” and select the video window to associate with the poll.

3. If you only want the poll to be visible when it’s overlaid on top of the video player, turn on “Show poll only when toggle is active (video)”.

4. Open the survey management, turn off the video image and click save to display the poll over the video player. The function is activated without having to reload the project page with a hard refresh (via > Save & Publish).
