Adding a dropdown area with if-then function

You have the option to include a dropdown area in the registration module that allows your participants to choose what information they want to provide.
This function can also be created as a single mandatory field, so that your participants have several options within the mandatory information – e. g., when combined with our > MyProfile module, everyone can choose whether they are logged in and can be seen in the chat with their first name or last name (or other options).

1. Specify which information your participants should choose between, e. g. “First name” and “Last name” and add an input text field for each piece of information.

2. Add a dropdown area and enter the following code as placeholder:

Auswahl 1[field=#####]|Auswahl 2[field=#####]

– e. g. Auswahl 1[field=First name]|Auswahl 2[field=Last name].

You can add as many options as you like.

3. Save & Publish the project. During registration, your participants can now choose which of the preset information they would like to provide.
